Some of the happenings, as I see it, on a dead end road, high up on a ridge, in southwestern Wisconsin.

Ain't Nuttin' Private?
The pictures aren't that great. (Blame it on Rayna.) Holly is in a difficult spot to take photos. Does this help any of you cattle people decide when the moment will be?
Well, she doesn't look *that* swollen yet, but she is a heifer. And there's no string yet, so it should still be another good 2 weeks at least. She's carrying pretty heavy on that one side...I love calves!
I agree with Rayna. Most girls get quite, um, loose, in the rear. Once her udder is more firm and a whitish/clear string is hanging out you have a day or two yet from then.
Thanks, Rayna and Garrett. If that is the case, I can keep track of what is happening. I will try to be patient. Ain't my strong suit now that I stopped teaching.
